AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION is holding their national fitness day on October 11. They need people to pass out materials and stuff. It will be at Blank Park Zoo and times will be adjustable. You can also participate in the actual event if you're interested too

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY will be this Friday. I don't have exact details about what it will be this week, but it will most likely be from 1-4 again. If you're interested in doing this, shoot me an e-mail and I'll get back to you with further information as soon as I get it.

DG PHILANTHROPY WEEK is here. Helping with fundraising and other activities will count for service hours (but not events at Anchor Splash). (Thank you Sam for stepping up with Theta philanthropy week last week, you did an great job)

FALL FESTIVAL October 20th from 5:30-9 pm. They are looking for 35-40 volunteers and shifts can be split if needed. Still one week before I have to have the names in so there's still time to volunteer

THE IMT DES MOINES MARATHON will be Sunday Oct 19 2008. they are looking for volunteers for the registration, set-up and other activities. For more information about the race check out www.desmoinesmarathon.com.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY is doing a massive building project. There are three dates set aside for Drake student organizations to participate in the Build: October 10, 11, and 24: 8-12 a.m. & 1-4 p.m.
