Pig Dinner 2010

PIG Dinner:

Pig Dinner is the best time to come back to Des Moines and reconnect with your brothers. Even if you haven’t been back for a few years, or haven’t been back since you graduated, it’s never too late to make this year the year that you do. We look forward to seeing you!

Fiji Legacy Committee:

In early April 2014, a group of graduates came together to form The Legacy Committee. The focus of this committee is to strengthen the graduate experience in three key areas: communications, fundraising, and brotherhood. Having a dedicated group of brothers to focus on these issues will help to streamline our chapter operations and relieve some of the burdens from the House Corporation and so we are currently in the process of transitioning those responsibilities.

The committee is taking charge of coordinating the class representatives and also taking an active role in developing and publishing The Drake Fiji. We are also working on more graduate focused Brotherhood Events. Lastly, the committee is taking over the responsibilities of the FIJI Legacy capital campaign – more to come on that in the September edition of The Drake FIJI. Our vision is to create an infrastructure that is sustainable and one that will strengthen the bonds between Graduate Brothers.

If you would like any further information or you would like to get involved, please contact us.

Message from our Graduate Relations Chair – Dan Syburg

Graduate Brothers,

The past year for Phi Gamma Delta has been a monumental one.  This past fall we celebrated our 20th annual PIG Dinner which marks the 20th anniversary of our chapter’s foundation.  This continued success could not have been done without all of your generosity and support.  Coming off our most successful PIG dinner to date, I want to continue in that recent trend of success with plans for this year’s coming dinner already underway.  Relays is also fast approaching and it would be awesome to see a lot of your faces around campus come that time of year for our annual house barbecue.  With that said if you have any questions regarding PIG dinner, our relays barbecue or any suggestions you may have, please do not hesitate to contact me at and 414-793-8741

Fraternally Yours,

Daniel Syburg
